Welcome

Web 2.0 & Distance Education Presentation Blog
Welcome to a living and breathing Web 2.0 enabled presentation of my final research paper Web 2.0's Impact on Distance Education Structure and Delivery.

As distance education students in EDT 523 this semester, we have learned more about interactivity, personalization and collaboration in distance education delivery. This final project is an example of these concepts because we are researching, writing, presenting and discussing our discoveries to further learning and knowledege for all class members. Also, we were able to choose our own topic in order to personlize the learning to our particular areas of interest.

So, to illustrate my research learnings, I am using this blog along with other Web 2.0 technologies to show the power of these tools in distance learning. I look forward to your comments and encourage you to answer the questions you will find throughout the blog by posting comments to the articles themselves. I hope that this process will develop a resource that I will leave available for access beyond this semester as we each continue to learn more about integrating technology most effectively into education through the curriculim design as well as course delivery processes.
